What we sell
A report, on screen and as a PDF by email, built from records we read at the moment you order. The price is £2.99 for the IMEI report. The price on the button is the whole price.
The report describes what the records said on the date and time printed on it. It is not a legal opinion, a valuation or financial advice. A clear result is not a guarantee about the phone or about the seller.
Not the government, not a network
This website is operated by a private company. It is not a government website, not a mobile network and not the GSMA. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorised by any of them.
The blacklist, lost and stolen records in our reports are read from a private data supplier at the moment the report is produced. We charge a fee for running the check, explaining the answer and presenting it with the buyer's checklist. Every report names its sources and the time each one was read.
A clear result means no record was found at that moment. It is not a guarantee that a phone was never lost or stolen, and it is not a guarantee about the seller. Our reports are not a legal opinion, a valuation or financial advice.
Cancellation
Your report is produced and delivered immediately after payment. Because it is digital content supplied straight away, you will lose your normal right to cancel within 14 days once we start producing it.
Before you pay you tick this box, and the time you ticked it is stored with your order: I want my report produced and sent to me now, and I understand that once it has been produced I lose my right to cancel this purchase and get a refund.
That is regulation 37 of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. It ends the right to change your mind. It does not touch your rights if the report is wrong.
If the report is wrong
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 the report must be of satisfactory quality, fit for its purpose and as described. If it is not, you have the right to have it put right or to a price reduction, and nothing in these terms takes that away. Write to us with the order number and we will look at the record again.
What the check cannot do
The blacklist, lost and stolen records are held by networks, insurers, the police and the data supplier. We read them, we do not make them. A loss or theft that was never reported will not appear. Every section of the report says where it came from and when it was read, and if a section could not be read the report says so.
The make and model on the free page come from an open community list. Where a code is not in it, the page says so. That is not a statement that the phone is fake.
